This well priced itinerary takes in two of Africa's most famous parks...the Masai Mara and Amboseli. Witness the raw power of the Acacia studded Masai Mara and the famous wildebeest herds and then move onto the scenically stunning Amboseli National Park where giants roam and Kilimanjaro looms! This is definitely one of our favourite trips in Kenya.

DAY
1

Fly to Nairobi

Fly internationally overnight to Nairobi to arrive following morning.

DAY
2-4

The Masai Mara

Met on arrival and transferred across Nairobi to the Domestic Airport at Wilson for the flight into the Masai Mara National Reserve. Met on arrival and transferred to Tipilikwani Mara Camp to stay for the next 3 nights on a Full Board basis including all park fees and game viewing activities on a shared vehicle basis.

Definitely the jewel in Kenya’s safari crown, the Masai Mara National Reserve and the surrounding, Greater Mara Conservation Area, are still one of the greatest regions in Africa to head for if you are wanting to see plenty of game in a short amount of time. Generally seen as best during the period when the wildebeest migration herds are viewable (from June until the end of October), although the beauty of the park is that it is still host to plenty of resident animals and predators throughout the year.

DAY
5-7

Amboseli National Park

Transferred back to the airstrip for the direct flight from the Mara to Amboseli National Park. Met on arrival and transferred to Satao Elerai Camp to stay for 3 nights on an all inclusive basis including shared game drives, guided walking safaris and night drives in the Elerai Conservancy.

Second in notoriety only to the Masai Mara, Amboseli National Park has become famed for its elephant herds and “that” stunning view, with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Combined with the fact that many of the herds are known to move down to Tanzania’s Tarangire National Park when the dry weather set in, this stunning park really comes alive once the short rains of November have arrived and given the already striking backdrop and moody and sullen grey sky contrast.

DAY
8-11

The Beach

Fly from Amboseli through to Diani on the Kenya Coastline to be met and transferred to Sands at Nomad to stay for 4 nights on a Half Board basis.

The coastline down here features the archetypal white sands and azure waters that you would expect from a desert island and, with their secluded location, many of the properties also offer a complete removal from the hustle and bustle of the beaches further to the north.

DAY
12

Back Home!

Fly back to Nairobi to be met and transferred to the international airport in time for the overnight flight back.

Please note that the above is on a B&B basis unless otherwise shown and the cost does not include international flights.
